Informing the creative route to support a brand re-positioning

Pre-testing alternative creative routes for a major new global ad campaign, designed to re-position our client’s interactive gaming brand.

Challenge

To fine tune and choose the winning creative route, for one of the world’s largest interactive gaming services, which wanted to re-position itself as a more contemporary and dynamic brand.

Approach

Multi-market evaluation survey with thousands of consumers, including facial coding of attention levels and emotional responses. Supplemented by diagnostic qualitative deep dives, to identify nuances in reactions as well as ways to fine tune executions to ensure maximum impact.

Outcome

The campaign delivered strong levels of awareness and shifting perceptions. There was a significant increase in familiarity and consideration of the brand, with it now being seen as Daring, Bold and Innovative – all values that the campaign aspired to achieve.
